We are particularly interested in placental and fetal immunology. Our goal is to define innate immune mechanisms against placental malaria at the maternal-fetal interface to further understanding of pathogenesis.

We aim to detect malaria among pregnant women using RDT, Microscopy and PCR to improve maternal-fetal health.
